This wine is sourced from 20-60 year vines in La Horra, a village in the Burgos District of Ribera del Duero. The grapes see an 8 day fermentation on the skins prior to gentle pressing. The wine was then aged in tank for 6 months prior to bottling.

Violet-red. Spicy redcurrant and cherry aromas are complicated by cracked pepper, violet and dried rose; very complex for its price point. Supple red fruit flavors are quite sweet, with no obvious tannins and gentle mineral lift on the back. An elegant, juicy style that finishes with very good clarity and persistence. This is a bargain.
