Gozzo is the organic wine produced by the winery Finca Las Yeguas, “Winery of the Crazy Women.” Their vineyards lie closer to the Andes Mountains than any other. Since snowmelt is the only source of water in Mendoza, Las Yeguas’ position guarantees no pesticides creep in from polluters upstream.
Owned and operated by the Suarez family, they craft high-quality, high-value, Earth-friendly wines that are perfect for the environmentally conscious who won’t compromise on taste. As Mauricio Suarez, the family patriarch, says, “First my wine must be good. Second my wine must be organic.”
With minimal use of oak, Gozzo outshines other organic wines with its unique and vibrant flavors, luscious fragrances, and balanced structure. The grapes are certified organic by IFOAM (International Federation of Agriculture Movements) and by the NOP (National Organic Program), both of which are USDA accredited.
