This wine is produced from young estate grown vines and purchased grapes from older vineyards in the Salnes sub-region of Rias Baixas. After cluster sorting the grapes are whole cluster pressed in a pneumatic press, followed by settling of the must with dry ice. The wine was fermented at 64°F in stainless steel tank. No malolactic fermentation. Aged for 1 month on fine lees for increased texture and mouthfeel.

Uncommonly rich and deeply flavored for a relatively affordable Albariño, it shows medium to full body, with just a hint of sweetness filling out the midpalate and fleshing out the mouthfeel. Nice peach and papaya notes are freshened by very zesty balancing acidity that is well integrated with the fruit.

For inexpensive Albariño, Nessa delivers the goods. The nose is flowery and soft, but most of all it’s inviting. The palate is easy and light in the middle, and along the edges apricot and citrus flavors are pleasant. Finishes round, with apple and melon notes. Drink right away.

Full-bodied yet crisp, this white is almost austere, with citrus zest, mineral and smoke flavors. Finishes with graceful floral and guava notes. Drink now through 2011.
